Mysore/Mysuru: The Mysore Race Club (MRC) Limited, in association with Treasure Win Enterprises LLP, has introduced Fixed Odds Betting (FOB), a new form of betting at MRC with effect from today (Feb. 2).
Ten FOB windows were inaugurated by MRC Chairman Y.B. Ganesh this morning. Speaking on the occasion, he said that this new form of betting would fetch good revenue to MRC as well as good tax to the Government.
“If the Government gives its nod for online betting, people can download the app and place their bets from anywhere,” Ganesh said and expressed confidence that the Government would give nod for online betting soon.
This FOB platform would grow if online betting take place, he said and added that FOB will take place during all races at MRC. FOB technical persons, MRC Stewards, Committee Members and others were present.
