As part of grand Dasara festivities, the Horticulture Division of University of Mysore (UoM) has organised the 17th Dasara Flower Show at Kukkarahalli Lake from Sept. 26 to Oct. 5 between 9 am and 7 pm on all the days.
The flower show will feature not only the regular flowering plants, but also include over 10,000 flower plants, fruit saplings, vegetable and ornamental plants. There will be no entry fee.
UoM Vice-Chancellor Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar will inaugurate the flower show on Sept. 26. UoM Registrars Prof. R. Shivappa and Prof. A. P. Gnana Prakash, Finance Officer Dr. Sangeetha Gajanana Bhat, Syndicate and Academic Council members will be present, according to a press release from A.K. Mujawar, Assistant Director of UoM Horticulture Department.
