Raag Milan has organised a flute recital by Ravi Shankar Mishra at #379, Artz Solitaire, 2nd Floor, 9th Cross, Gokulam 3rd Stage, tomorrow (Feb. 12) at 5 pm. He will be accompanied by his students Olga from Russia and Suhas Hegde.
Ravi Shankar Mishra is a student of Pt. Nityanand Haldipur. Along with his flute performances, he has been teaching flute to students from all over the world. He is also a master craftsman of bamboo flutes.
The concert will be followed by a Satvik Veena performance by Salil Bhatt, one of the finest innovative and versatile musician of our times. He is the son and disciple of Grammy award winner, Padma Bhushan Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt.
Salil has done it all from solo concerts and international collaborations with various jazz musicians. Having received a pre-Grammy award, he is the first Indian musician to perform inside the German Parliament. He has toured across the globe several times and has enthralled the audiences with his brilliant musical performances.
He will be accompanied on the tabla by a very talented and a young tabla player Himanshu Mahanth from Baroda.
