Folklore Fest

Darideepa Foundation, Palahalli in Srirangapatna taluk, will be organising ‘JanapadaKalotsava’, a day-long  State-level Folklore Festival at the Town Hall in Mysuru city on Nov. 24. The event will be held from 9 am to 9 pm on that day. More than 20 folk troupes from different parts of the State are expected to participate in the festival. There will be three prizes, with the first prize of Rs. 20,000; second prize of Rs. 15,000 and third prize of Rs.10,000, according to Foundation Head Ravishankar.
