Round Table India (RTI) and Ladies Circle India (LCI) – Area 13 (comprising Mysuru, Mangaluru, Shivamogga, Chikkamagalur and Sakleshpur) recently donated a food cart with equipment to Vedavathi and her sister-in-law, both widows, to earn their livelihood. They have set up the cart in a commercial place in Nazarbad, Mysuru. All the 5 Circles and 10 Tables of Area 13 have contributed equally towards this initiative (total project cost was Rs. 45,000). Area 13 comprises Mysore RT-21 and LC-9, Mysore Heritage RT-109 and LC-109, Mangalore RT-115 and LC-82, Mysore Amity RT-156 and LC-108, Chikkamagalur RT-164, Shivamogga RT-166, Mangalore Coastal RT-190, Mysore Elite RT-256 and LC-141, Shivamogga Malnad RT- 266 and Sakleshpur RT-276.
