Mysore/Mysuru: TiE Mysuru, in collaboration with CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), will host “FoodTech for Thought: Innovations Reshaping What We Eat,” an evening of conversation, innovation and startup showcases tomorrow (May 15) at Hotel Arcor in city between 6 pm and 7.30 pm.
The event will bring together scientists, founders, investors and ecosystem leaders to explore the future of food innovation from Mysuru.
The highlight of the evening will be a Fireside Chat with Dr. S. Vijayalakshmi, Scientist, CFTRI, on the theme “Innovation, Enterprise & The Future of Food.” The programme will also feature live startup showcases by three ventures emerging from CFTRI’s incubator — Sugarcan Innovations Pvt. Ltd., IndiMeat and Iniya Bioprobes Pvt. Ltd. — working across alternative proteins, meat innovation, bio-diagnostics and biotechnology.
The event is designed to showcase how research-driven ideas are moving from the laboratory to the marketplace, while creating opportunities for collaboration between science, entrepreneurship, and industry.
