Ponnappa Ichettira has been appointed as the Manager of the State U-21 football team representing at Khelo India 2020 at Guwahati.
He is the founder and mentor at INS Sports Centre, Guddehosur near Kushalnagar, started as a memorial to his younger brother. He is also the General Secretary of the Kodagu District Football Association.
