Former District Congress President T.S. Ravishankar passes away

Mysuru: T.S. Ravishankar (64), former District Congress President and a resident of Vidyaranyapuram, near T.V. Srinivasrao Circle, passed away following a heart attack in city this morning.

Ravishankar had also served as the President of The Graduates Co-operative Bank, was its present Director and was a member of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC).

He leaves behind his wife Kamala, sons T.S. Nikhil Tagadur and T.S. Rahul Tagadur and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites will be held on Jan. 29 at the foot of Chamundi Hill, after his sons return from abroad, according to family sources.

City Congress President R. Murthy, District President Dr. B.J. Vijaykumar and other Congress leaders paid their last respects to the departed this morning.
