Mysore/Mysuru: Former Mayor and BJP leader Sandesh Swamy has urged the District Administration to set up COVID Care Centres (CCC) in the Southern part of NR Assembly segment.

In a statement issued here yesterday, Sandesh Swamy, while welcoming the setting up of two CCCs at Udayagiri, which is located at the Northern part of the Constituency, stressed on the need for the establishment of such centres in the Southern part as well. Pointing out that the entire Assembly segment is reporting a large number of COVID-19 cases every day, the former Mayor said that the residents of areas such as Gayathripuram,  Kyathamaranahalli, K.N.Pura, Vidyanagar, Shaktinagar, Kalyanagiri, Giriyabovipalya, Teachers Layout, Jyothinagar,  Raghavendranagar and Yeraganahalli are expressing a lot of concern over cases being reported from their areas too. As such, it is necessary to establish CCCs and Fever Clinics in the Southern part of the Constituency, he said.
