Mysore/Mysuru: Even as Corona cases are rising by the day in the district, former Mayor Ayub Khan has urged the citizens to follow lockdown guidelines strictly in order to stop the spread of COVID-19.
In a public appeal, Ayub Khan, regretting that people still continued to come out on to the streets under the pretext of buying vegetables, medicines and other essential items, especially in areas coming under NR Assembly segment, he urged the citizens to understand the seriousness of the situation and stay at homes.
Stressing on the need for staying indoors at this crucial hour, he said that it was important for everyone to stay safe and be healthy. Highlighting the need for wearing face-masks and use of sanitisers, he appealed the public to fully co-operate with the District Administration in the battle against the deadly Novel Coronavirus.
Emphasising on the need for maintaining social distance, he said that it was very important to understand that prevention is better than cure and as such, the citizens should follow lockdown regulations in its totality for the sake of their health.
