Former Minister asks newly-elected Hunsur CMC members to work sincerely

Hunsur: Former Minister and senior BJP Leader A.H. Vishwanath has asked newly elected CMC (City Municipal Council) members to work with dedication and determination without bowing to any political pressure.

Speaking to press persons after being felicitated by the newly elected BJP members of the CMC at Hunsur Press Club on Thursday, Vishwanath said that the CMC members should give prominence for ensuring basic amenities to all residents of their respective Wards.

Stressing on the need for the CMC members to address people’s issues before anything else, Vishwanath said that the people of the town have dashed the hopes of local Congress MLA of a sweep in the CMC polls. Assuring full co-operation for the newly elected members for comprehensive development of Hunsur, Vishwanath welcomed MLA H.P. Manjunath’s decision to organise a workshop on administration and on their responsibilities for CMC members.

Taluk BJP President Naganna, CMC members Ganesh, Vivekananda and Harish Kumar, leaders Hanagodu Manjunath, Rajendra, Kunnegowda and others were present.
