Former Minister Ramdas hits campaign trail at Nanjangud

Even as the poll campaign for the prestigious Nanjangud by-poll is getting hotter with each  passing day, former Minister S.A. Ramdas hit the campaign trail early this morning by extensively touring various   localities in the town, seeking votes for BJP candidate V. Sreenivasa Prasad.

Speaking to press persons during the campaign, Ramdas said he saw huge support for the BJP wherever he visited and even Muslim women had made up their mind to vote for the BJP as Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched several initiatives for their welfare. Accusing the State Government of failing to distribute UWIN cards (Unrecognised Workers Identification Number) to benefit people working in the unorganised sectors, Ramdas said that he has asked the party workers to distribute the cards among the labourers.
