Mysuru: G.I. Srikanta Rao (95), retd. KSRTC Depot Manager and former Director of NIE, Mysuru, passed away last night due to Pneumonia. He was also former Cricket Umpire and had officiated in a few Ranji Trophy matches. He leaves behind two sons, G.S. Ramachandra (Hon. Secretary, NIE) and Dr. G.S. Suresh (Dean-Academics, NIE) and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill this afternoon.
