Mysore/Mysuru: JD(S) supremo and former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda is also joining the poll campaign in the Mysuru district tomorrow (Apr. 25).
Deve Gowda will be campaigning for the JD(S) candidate K. Mahadev in Periyapatna and for the party candidate S.R. Mahesh in Saligrama, Mirle and Hosur, all of which come under the K.R. Nagar constituency. It is reported that he campaigned for party candidates in the Tumakuru district on Apr. 24.
Meanwhile, the Congress is planning to bring in actress and former Mandya MP Ramya as a
star campaigner for the party. This is in response to BJP’s campaigner, actress Sumalatha Ambarish, who is also the Mandya MP. Ramya is expected to address Congress poll rallies in Mandya district on May 1 and 2.
