Priyanka to campaign in Mysuru, Chamarajanagar tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: Top Congress leader and AICC General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will tour parts of Mysuru and Chamarajanagar on Apr. 25 (tomorrow) to campaign for party candidates.

Mysuru District Congress President Dr. B.J. Vijaykumar announced that Priyanka will fly from Bengaluru in a helicopter and land at T. Narasipur. She will address a public rally at Helavarahundi in the taluk at 12 noon, seeking support for Congress candidate Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa.

Later on, at 3 pm, Priyanka will take part in a women’s convention at Gowrishankar Convention Hall in Hanur, Chamarajanagar district. During the convention, she will interact with tribal women and seek votes for Congress candidate R. Narendra from Hanur.

After the women’s convention in Hanur, Priyanka will leave for K.R. Nagar in the Mysuru district, where she will take part in a road show at 5.30 pm. The roadshow will pass through Topamma Temple, Ambedkar Bust, and Municipality Office Circle. Congress party In-charge of Karnataka Randeep Singh Surjewala will accompany her in her poll campaign. She will leave K.R. Nagar for Mysuru at 6.45 pm.

After arriving in Mysuru from K.R. Nagar, Priyanka is expected to campaign for Chamaraja Congress candidate K. Harish Gowda at around 7 pm tomorrow and will stay overnight at Hotel Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel.
