Mysore/Mysuru: A 23-year-old youth, said to be mentally depressed, allegedly committed suicide by hanging self at his house yesterday afternoon.

The deceased is Pruthvin, son of former ZP President Kadakola Nagaraj and a resident of Udayaravi Road in Kuvempunagar. It is learnt that Pruthvin was depressed over some issue and yesterday, when his mother had gone out, committed suicide by hanging self to the ceiling fan at the house. Ashokapuram Inspector Prakash and staff, visited the spot, conducted mahazar, shifted the body to MMC&RI mortuary. 

Post-mortem was conducted today and the body was handed over to the family members.
