Foundation stone laid for Nature Cure and Yoga College building

District Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa laid the foundation stone for Government Nature Cure and Yoga (Prakruti Chikitse Mathu Yoga) College building at Brindavan Extension First Stage on KRS Road in city this morning. The Minister also laid the foundation stone for the kitchen block.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Mahadevappa said that the College building in being constructed under the Karnataka Health Systems Development and Reform Project at a cost of Rs. 7.16 crore.

Explaining the benefits of nature cure and yoga, the Minister said yoga helps in maintaining good health and help reduce mental and physical stress to a substantial extent. He also highlighted the State Government’s efforts for providing quality health care for all sections of the society.

MLA Vasu presided. MP Pratap Simha, Dy. Mayor Rathna Lakshman, Corporators Anasuya Ramanna, M. Ramesh, Bhagyavathi and Prashanth Gowda were present.
