Mysuru: In commemoration of the birth anniversary of its Founder Ammembala Subba Rao Pai, Mysuru Regional Office of Canara Bank celebrated the 114th Founder’s Day yesterday along with a customers’ meet at its premises in Nazarbad.
The objective of the meet was to reach out to the customers and stakeholders of the region whose myriad support has helped the Bank to emerge as a frontline public sector bank of the nation.
A corporate film showing the century-long journey of the humble entity shaping into a leading PSU Bank was screened on the occasion. Eminent Mysureans like Dr. S.P. Yoganna, Cardiologist and Chairman of Suyog Hospital, N. Narendra, Managing Director of Vinyas Innovative Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Raghavendra Pai, Founder of Vedanta Yoga Foundation and other long standing customers of Canara Bank were felicitated.
A product awareness session was also held wherein the Mysuru Marketing team explained the exclusive features of some of the recently launched products of the Bank in the digital spheres.
The customers appreciated the products developed by the Bank and expressed confidence at the services being rendered by the 57 branches and 105 ATMs spread across Mysuru and Chamarajanagar districts.
