Mysore/Mysuru: Alanahalli Police have registered a case against four persons of a family on charges of allegedly cheating four persons to the tune of Rs. 45 lakh after promising them sites.
Based on a complaint from one Govindaraju of Gandhinagar, cases have been registered against city’s Jwalamukhi Tripura Sundari Seva Sangha President N. Ramachandra, his wife Asha and children Kuldeep and Punyashree.
Details: It is learnt that the Government had sanctioned 9 acre and 1 gunta land to Jwalamukhi Tripura Sundari Seva Sangha in Survey No. 30 at Lalithadripura in 2010 and Ramachandra is accused of collecting money from many persons promising them sites at the sanctioned land.
According to the complaint by Govindaraju, Ramachandra had taken a total of Rs. 45 lakh from Srinath, Sunkalingegowda, Shivamallu and him for the sites and whenever they approached Ramachandra to enquire about the sites, they were abused by Ramachandra, his wife and children using foul language.
Alanahalli Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
