Four killed as lorry rams into bikes near Indavalu

T. Narasipur: Four persons were killed when a lorry rammed into the bikes they were riding near Indavalu village in the taluk in the wee hours of today.

The deceased are Madhukumar (20), a resident of Kanchamahalli village in H.D. Kote taluk, Madhusudan (24), a resident of Siddegowdanahundi village, Raghavendra (25), a resident of Kandegala village and Ahmed Khan (38), a native of Odisha.

All the deceased are said to be employees of a hotel at Kuvempunagar in Mysuru.

All the four had been to attend a festival at Hunsur village in the taluk and after having dinner at the house of Chethan and Veerabhadra, the four in two bikes were proceeding towards Mysuru, when a lorry coming from Mysuru side towards T. Narasipur rammed into the bikes at about 2 am today killing Raghavendra, Madhukumar and Ahmed Khan on-the-spot and seriously injuring Madhusudan, who breathed his last at a hospital in Mysuru.

T. Narasipur Circle Inspector Shekar, ASI Azaruddin and staff, who rushed to the spot, conducted spot inspection besides registering a case.
