Four-lane works: Vehicle movement banned

Vehicles barred from Gun House Circle till Nanjangud Road Truck Terminal

Mysuru: The City Police Commissioner has banned vehicle movement from Gun House Circle till the Truck Terminal on the Nanjangud Road.

In a media communication, Commissioner Dr. A. Subrahmanyeswara Rao has said that the movement of vehicles has been banned due to the construction of a four-lane road between Gun House Circle and till the Truck Terminal.

Heavy vehicles proceeding north from the truck terminal can proceed towards Race Course Circle. Other vehicles coming on the Nanjangud Road can take a left near JSS College Junction and take the JLB Road. Vehicles coming from Hardinge Circle can proceed via Gun House Circle, Chamaraja Double Road, New Sayyaji Rao Road, Agrahara Circle, Siddappa Square and proceed further.

Vehicles moving towards east from JSS Hospital can take a right near the over bridge on the Nanjangud Road and take a left near truck terminal.

The Police Commissioner has stated that the four-lane works will be completed within 90 days and the road will be thrown open after that.

Vehicle movement has been banned on the Narayana Shastry Road that connects D. Devaraj Urs Road and Chamaraja Double Road as works on the underground drainage on both sides of Narayana Shastry Road are being carried out.
