Four Mysuru natives stranded

Narcotic substances including ganja, MDMA worth over Rs. 8.30 lakh seized

Mysore/Mysuru: In separate cases, the Cyber, Economic and Narcotics (CEN) Crime and City Crime Branch (CCB) Police, have arrested a total of seven drug peddlers, besides seizing narcotic substances, mobile phones, one car and one scooter all worth over Rs. 8.30 lakh from them.

 In the first case, the CEN Police on July 8 arrested four drug peddlers, who were trying to sell ganja on the service road of Outer-Ring Road near Srinidhi Layout, close to Sathagalli Bus Stand and have seized 21.300 kg ganja, one Toyota Corolla car and mobile phones, all worth Rs. 6,30,000 from them, besides registering a case.

DCP (Law and Order) M. Muthuraj and CEN Crime Police ACP N. Sneharaj guided CEN Inspector Prasanna Kumar, Sub-Inspector Anilkumar and staff K.S. Srinivas, V.A. Madhu, M. Bhasha and P. Kumar from the Technical Wing in the nabbing and seizing operation.

In the second case, the City Crime Branch (CCB) Police on July 12 arrested three drug peddlers, who were trying to sell banned narcotic substance MDMA, in front of a house on Pulikeshi Road 6th Cross, Agasara Beedhi in Mandi Police limits and seized 51 grams and 4 ml MDMA substance, one new scooter without registration number plate and other items, all worth over Rs. 2 lakh from them.

Higher  Police officers guided CCB officers and staff in the nabbing and seizing operation. A case has been registered at Mandi Police Station.
