Four thieves arrested; 37 cell phones recovered

Mysuru: The CCB Police, who arrested four mobile thieves, have recovered 37 cell phones allegedly  stolen by them.

The arrested have been identified as Nadeem, Wasim, Zameer and Tousif Pasha, all in their mid-twenties and residents of Udayagiri.

Acting on a tip off, the CCB sleuths picked up the four while they were attempting to sell mobile-phones at K.T. Street on Thursday.

During interrogation, they confessed to have stolen cell phones from different places in the city, following which 37 cell phones, totally worth thousands of rupees, were recovered from them.

All the accused were produced before the Court yesterday, which remanded them to Judicial custody. A case has been registered at Lashkar Police Station in this regard.
