FPAI’s Family Planning Hospital re-opens

Mysore/Mysuru: The Reproductive Health and Family Planning Clinic (RHFPC – Family Planning Hospital), which had been shut seven years ago, has started functioning again. 

Dr. Chaithanya and his team have successfully carried out a Laparoscopic surgery on July 8, 2022 in the newly established operation theatre. 

FPAI is an NGO, which used to provide Family Planning Services in its Hospital situated at No. 183, ‘Rekha,’ Udayagiri, Mysuru  (known as Chakra Hospital before) with the assistance of Central and State Governments. 

The activities, which had been stopped since 2014, has been revived in the newly established Operation Theatre at its Hospital situated at No. 4607, L-18, 3rd Cross, St. Mary’s Road, near Maruti Circle, N R Mohalla, Mysuru. The Association is carrying out its activities under the leadership of Prof. S. N. Hegde, Hon. Chairperson, supported by Prof. S.S. Malini and Dr. Mylahalli Revanna, the members of the Adhoc Committee. 

Laparoscopic sterilisation, birth control surgery, MTP, medical abortion, prenatal and postnatal services for pregnant women, maternal and child health services, problems related to sterility and counselling services are provided by the Family Planning Association of India (FPAI).  Those who require any of these services may contact Mob:81970-24989 or 98459-19988.
