Mysuru: Ln. M.C. Bansali, District Chairman of District 317a of Lions Clubs International in association with Lions Club of Mysore West and Jain Milan Palace City, Mysuru, had organised a function to distribute artificial limbs to the needy in city recently.
As many as 35 artificial limbs were distributed to needy free of cost at Rajendra Bhavan auditorium in JSS Hospital premises in the presence of Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji, Health and Family Welfare Minister Shivananda Patil and MLA S.A. Ramdas.
Jain Milan Palace City donated Rs. 2 lakh for poor patients undergoing dialysis and also donated Rs. 25,000 towards the artificial limbs on the occasion. The cheques were handed over to JSS Hospital by Manmal Darla and Sampath Kothari.
Ln. Bhansali was honoured by Minister Patil for his service.
