Free cancer screening camp at SGS Hospital tomorrow

A free cancer screening camp will be conducted at SGS Hospital, Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashrama, Dattanagar, Mysuru, on Sept.12 from 10 am to 2 pm, in association with Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bengaluru. The camp is for cancer detection, screening for suspected cancer and health education  regarding prevention and early diagnosis of cancer to enhance awareness among the public. Dr. C. Ramachandra, Director of Kidwai Institute, will conduct the camp along with a team of doctors — Dr. C. Ramesh, Professor & Head, Department of Epidemiology, Dr. A.S. Mahantesh, Assistant Surgeon, Dr. S. Akshatha, Dr. Hemanth Vasan, Dr. Pavan Prasad and other para-medical staff. The general public is requested to make use of this opportunity and visit the Hospital for screening, consultation and guidance from the specialists.
