Free Hearing Aid Repair Camp at AIISH from Monday

Mysuru: A five-day camp for ‘Free Repair of Hearing Aids’ has been organised by the Department of Electronics, All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH) from Nov.13 to Nov.17  between 10 am and 4 pm at the Institute premises in city.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Ravi D. Channannavar will inaugurate the camp at 9.15 am on Nov.13. Dr.Niranjana Vanalli, Registrar, Music University, will be the guest of honour. Dr. S.R. Savithri, Director, AIISH, will preside.

Any individual with hearing aid can walk in and get his hearing aid serviced and repaired free of cost at the camp. The replacement of some of the spare parts would also be done free of cost. The camp will have repair counters setup by all the major suppliers of hearing aids in the country such as Hansaton, Oticon, Amplifon, Arphi and Danovox.
