A free vaccination drive was organised at the Mysuru campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham on July 8 for students and staff of the College. With the objective of vaccinating everyone, the drive was conducted with the help of Primary Health Centre (PHC), T.K. Layout, Health and Family Welfare Department, Mysuru.
On the occasion, a total of 115 students and staff got vaccinated with Covishield. The drive was formally inaugurated in the presence of Br. Anantaananda Chaitanya, Director, Amrita Mysuru; Br. Muktidamrta Chaitanya, Correspondent; Dr. G. Ravindranath, Principal, Amrita; Dr. Rekha Bhat, Academic Coordinator, Mysuru Campus and medical staff of PHC, T.K. Layout and ASHA workers.
