Mysore/Mysuru: D.S. Jagadeesh (91), a freedom fighter, who had taken part in ‘Mysore Chalo,’ ‘Quit India Movement’ and other freedom struggle agitations, passed away at a private hospital in city yesterday following age related ailments.
A resident of Kuvempunagar, Jagadeesh had served as the President of District Freedom Fighters’ Association. He leaves behind two sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at Vidyaranyapuram Burial Grounds yesterday, according to sources.
