G.B. Jayavani(69), wife of late PES College of Engineering Professor and noted writer H.L. Keshavamurthy, passed away at her residence in Mandya yesterday.
She was the daughter of former MLA late G.S. Bommegowda and sister of former MLA G.B.Shivakumar. Last rites were performed at the burial ground near Fire Brigade Station at Mandya this afternoon, according to family sources.
Due to Jayavani’s demise, the award presentation programme organised by Prof. H.L.Keshavamurthy Foundation scheduled for today (Dec.28), stands postponed and the next date will be announced later, according to a press release.
