G.Srikanta Shastry (98), a retired Tahsildar of Revenue Department and a former High Court Advocate, passed away at his residence in Bengaluru on Sunday.

He leaves behind his son Ranganath, a former Bank Manager and currently serving at Brahmakumari Eshwariya Vishwavidyalaya, Lingadevarakoppal near Yelwal on Hunsur Road, five daughters and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed in Bengaluru on Monday, according to family sources.
