Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashram donates medical kits to District Police

Mysore/Mysuru: Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashram on Nanjangud Road donated 250 primary medical kits to the District Police on Tuesday.

The kits were handed over to SP C. B. Ryshyanth at his office by Ashram Secretary H.V. Prasad along with a letter carrying the message of the Swamiji.

The seer in is message lauded the efforts of the Police, who are frontline warriors in the battle against the deadly COVID-19 pandemic and said that the Ashram, with concerns for health of the Police, was donating medical kits to Police personnel. The letter also carried a note by city’s renowned Orthopaedician Dr. N. Nithyananda Rao, who is also a Trustee of the Ashram, on the dosage of Vitamin tablets for immunity boosting.

Each kit contains two N-95 face-masks, 10 general face- masks for use as double mask, sanitiser, calcium, vitamin and zinc tablets enough for a month, paracetamol tablets and an oximeter. 

Raghulal and Co. proprietor N. Raghavan and Dr. Nithyananda Rao were present.

On May 14, Ashram Secretary H.V. Prasad had handed over 600 medical kits worth about Rs. 15 lakh meant for the city Police, to City Police Commissioner Dr. Chandragupta. 

The distribution of medical kits to city Police was launched by Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji in the presence of District Minister S.T. Somashekar, MP Pratap Simha and other people representatives at a programme held at the Ashram premises last week.
