Mysuru: Alleging that the hostel was over crowded, authorities not providing proper food and shelter, admission given to outside students which was hampering their studies, the students of Gangothri Hostel staged a flash protest in front of hostel’s ‘A’ Block yesterday which went on till late night.
The protesting students alleged that despite submitting a memorandum in this regard to the officials concerned, their pleas had fallen on deaf ears.
Jayalakshmipuram Police, who rushed to the spot, provided security.
