Mysore/Mysuru: NR Group, owners of Mysore Warriors, have announced inclusion of two outstanding catchment area players from the city, for the upcoming KSCA Maharaja Trophy 2025.
The team management has selected medium pacers Gautham Sagar and M.R. Jayanth to be a part of the team for the upcoming tournament.
The two players were selected from a pool of 184 participants during the Mysore Warriors Talent Hunt held in Mysuru.
Out of the 184 participants, 10 players were shortlisted and were invited to an intensive training session alongside the main squad. After rigorous practice and close evaluation, Gautham and Jayanth ended in the Warriors lineup
Gautham Sagar, a standout player and Right-arm Medium Pacer, brings a surge of youthful energy and cricketing finesse to the Mysore Warriors.
His sharp technique and competitive edge are poised to strengthen the team’s lineup as they gear up for the Maharaja Trophy 2025. Gautham Sagar represents Jo Jo Cricket Club.
M.R. Jayanth, a promising Right-arm Medium pacer, joins the squad with a reputation for consistent on-field brilliance. His achievements at the junior level speak volumes of his potential, making him a valuable asset to the Mysore Warriors’ championship campaign. M.R. Jayanth is from Karavali Cricket Club.
