Geetha Jnaana Yagna discourse

Mysore/Mysuru: Chinmaya Mission, Mysuru, on account of Datta Jayanthi, has organised  Geetha Jnaana Yagna, a seven-day dis-course in Kannada, on Srimad Bhagavadgita’s 7th Chapter “Jnana Vijnaana Yoga”, by Pujya Swamini Kaashikanandaji from Dec.19 to Dec. 25 between 6.30 pm and 7.30 pm at Sri Gurudeva Datta Sannidhi, 6th Main, III Stage, Gokulam, Mysuru.

Kaashikanandaji, who has served as resident acharya at various places across Karnataka, is very well- known to the spiritual seekers of Mysuru. At present she is the resident Acharya at Koramangala, Bengaluru.

From Dec.20, daily from 6 pm to 6.30 pm, there will be Dattatreya Ashtottara Shatanaamaavali Saamoohika Archana.

In addition, there will be mass chanting of all the 18 chapters on  Dec.22 on account of “Gita Jayanthi” from 3 pm to 6 pm. On Dec.26, on the auspicious day of  Datta Jayanthi, there                                   will be Ksheerabhishekam to Lord Dattatreya by devotees  from 10 am and Mahaman- galarathi at 12.30 pm. Devotees may offer milk to Dattatreya on that day.

Also “Hanumadvratam” will be held at “Shri Rama Kshetra”, 5th Main, Sarvajanika Hostel Road, Vidyaranyapuram, on Dec.24 from 11 am to 12.30 pm.
