Gets ‘A’ Grade NAAC accreditation

Mysuru: GSSS Institute of Engineering & Technology for Women (GSSSIETW), Mysuru, has been accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ Grade (CGPA of 3.13 in 4 point scale) based on the visit by Peer Team constituted by NAAC under the Chairmanship of Dr. Nupur Prakash, former Vice-Chancellor, Indira Gandhi Technical University for Women and Professor, GGS Indra Prastha University, Delhi.

Dr. Nupur was accompanied by Member Coordinator Dr. S. C. Choube, Professor, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh and Dr. Hansa Lysander Manohar, Department of Management Studies, College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

The institute has taken all measures for the overall development of the students with the accomplishments like: Curriculum aspects, Teaching-Learning and Evaluation, Research-Innovation and Extension activities, Infrastructure and Learning Resources, Student Support and Progression, Governance, Leadership and Management, Institutional Values and Best Practices. Noteworthy, among the Engineering Colleges in Mysuru region, accredited with ‘A’ grade, GSSSIETW ranks highest CGPA score during the first cycle of NAAC accreditation, according to a press release from Dr. M. Shivakumar, Principal of the Institute.
