Girijamba (72), wife of late Shivaiah and a resident of K.R. Vanam, passed away in the early hours of today in city.
She leaves behind two sons including wildlife photographer G.S. Ravishankar, four daughters and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were held at the foot of Chamundi Hill this afternoon, according to family sources.
