An incident of a girl committing suicide by hanging self to a ceiling fan has been reported from Anandoor in Yelwal Hobli near here yesterday.
The deceased girl has been identified as Anusha (18), daughter of Rama. Anusha’s mother had passed away four months ago.
It is learnt that Anusha, who was suffering from severe stomach pain was depressed and took the extreme step.
Meanwhile, the Police said that the exact reason for Anusha’s extreme step would be known only after investigation.
