Mysore/Mysuru: An 18-year-old girl has reportedly committed suicide by jumping into KRS backwaters yesterday afternoon. The deceased is Bhavana (18) of Gungral Chatra in the taluk. She is said to have committed suicide by jumping into KRS backwaters near Sagara Katte Bridge close to Yelwal.
Police said that the reason for the girl to take the extreme step is yet to be ascertained. The body has been shifted to MMC&RI mortuary, according to Yelwal Inspector Yogarajappa.
