Hunsur: In a tragic incident, a 9-year-old girl was killed, while 6 others sustained injuries, when the Ape Auto they were travelling, overturned near Devagalli in the taluk on Saturday night.
The deceased has been identified as Nandini (9) of Rajaji Colony in Nanjangud. Nandini, along with her other family members, was travelling in the auto to Devagalli on Karimuddanahalli-Devagalli Road after attending a wedding dinner on the night of May 13, when the auto toppled near a channel. As a result, Nandini and 6 other family members sustained injuries.
The seriously injured Nandini was being shifted to a hospital, when she died en route, it is learnt. Bilikere Police have registered a case.
