Mysuru: Chinmaya Mission, Mysuru, has organised a Gita Jnana Yajna in Kannada by Pujya Swami Adityananda at Sri Datta Sannidhi, 6th Cross, Gokulam 3rd Stage, Mysuru.
This discourse is from Monday (July 8) to Sunday (July 14) between 6.30 pm and 8 pm. The week-long discourse will be on “Dhyana Yoga” based on 6th Chapter of Bhagavad Gita.
Starting from Tuesday (July 9) from 7 am to 8 am, the Swamiji will be delivering a pravachanam on Shri Badareesha Stotram, which Swamiji himself has translated into vernacular.
Pujya Swami Adityanandaji is at present the resident Acharya of Chinmaya Mission, Mandya, where he is very actively committed to spreading the spiritual messages in our ancient scriptures. Swamiji is a voracious reader and also regularly writes spiritual messages in Kannada Dailies. He also travels widely in Karnataka and outside conducting Jnana Yajnas.
He has a special talent to make the discourses very interesting by drawing anecdotes, couplets and real-life incidents from many other sources, which makes the hidden messages in Vedanta easy to understand and interesting to listen.
His personal qualities of being very friendly, energetic and humorous adds a special flavour to his discourses. Starting from July 9, from 6 pm to 6.30 pm everyday there will be Vishnu Sahasranama Parayana. On July 14, Guru Purnima will be celebrated at the same venue.
