Give suggestions, don’t make allegations, BJP leaders tell Siddharamaiah

Mysore/Mysuru: The BJP leaders have urged the Congress Party to give suggestions to deal with COVID-19 pandemic instead of making baseless allegations against State and Union Governments on Corona crisis.

Addressing a joint news conference here this morning, State BJP Spokesperson M.G. Mahesh, MUDA Chairman H.V. Rajeev and Jungle Lodges and Resorts Chairman M. Appanna said Leader of Opposition in the State Legislative Assembly Siddharamaiah has been criticising Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa over the Covid management.

Despite announcing the special package for various sectors, the BJP leaders were being slammed without understanding their efforts to contain the epidemic. The country successfully faced the first wave of COVID pandemic and they were confident of facing the second wave too.

On vaccine diplomacy, they pointed out that the PM sent vaccine to several other countries and in return, those nations sent oxygen, medicine and raw materials to India to combat the ongoing second wave.

But the Congress party is involved in bed blocking and medicine scams, they alleged and blamed the Congress  for not contributing a single rupee to Prime Minister Cares Fund.

“We welcome the Congress leaders to give concrete suggestions and not baseless allegations. Don’t make baseless statement just for the sake of criticising ruling party. This is not the time to play politics as they have to unitedly fight against this pandemic,” they said.
