Maintaining that globe trotting will help one to enhance his/her knowledge, noted cine Director Nagathihalli Chandrashekar said that those with much travel experience will become intellectually richer.

He was speaking at a special lecture on ‘Alemaariyobbana Loka Grahikeya Kathanakagalu’ organised by Kannada Department of Mahajana First Grade College at the College premises in Jayalakshmipuram here this morning.

Underlining the need for a planned life, Nagathihalli Chandrashekar said that although reading gives one sort of experience, travel gives a whole lot of another experience.

Asserting that money alone does not make one rich, he pointed out that the experiences gained while travelling will make one internally richer as the traveller comes in contact with a lot of persons from different cultures and diversities.

He further said that travel experiences will make one to understand the world much better, while also gaining an in-depth knowledge about the geographical characteristics of the world.
