Gold bangles stolen from vanity bag

A woman has lodged a complaint at Saraswathipuram Police Station stating that her gold bangles worth Rs. 1.5 lakh, which was kept in her vanity bag, has been stolen. The woman, who has lodged the complaint, has been identified as M.S. Anuradha, a resident of Tonachikoppal in city.

According to the complaint, Anuradha had bought a pair of gold bangles weighing about 55 grams from a jewellery shop in Srirangapatna and kept it in her vanity bag and returned to Mysuru, where she boarded a city bus and alighted near Maruthi Tent in Tonachikoppal.

When she checked her vanity bag after reaching her house, she found the gold bangles missing and lodged a complaint.

Saraswathipuram Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
