Gold chain, vanity bag snatched

Mysuru: In separate incidents, miscreants have snatched a gold chain of a pedestrian and a vanity bag of a doctor in city.

In the first incident, a bike borne miscreant has snatched a 15 grams gold chain of a woman, who was walking on Vinaya Marga, 3rd Cross in Siddarthanagar after purchasing vegetables on Saturday evening.

The woman, who lost her gold chain is Vijayalakshmi, who has lodged a complaint at Nazarbad Police Station in this regard.

In the second incident, two bike borne miscreants have snatched the vanity bag of a doctor containing Rs. 20,000 cash, PAN Card, mobile phone, Driving License, Pass Book, cheque book, RC Card of the scooter and Doctor ID Card  on Friday night.

The doctor, who lost her cash and documents, is Dr. Devika, who runs a clinic at Kesare and a resident of the same locality.

On Friday night, Dr. Devika, who closed her clinic was proceeding to her house on her scooter in Kesare 3rd stage,  when two bike borne miscreants on a Pulsar bike, who came from behind, snatched her vanity bag and sped away, according to the complaint lodged by Dr. Devika at N.R. Police Station.
