Golf-Hero Women’s Pro-Golf Tour 2017: Pranavi wins her maiden amateur title

City’s Pranavi S. Urs emerged victorious in the 7th Leg of Hero Women’s Pro-Golf Tour 2017 at Eagleton Golf Course at Bidadi yesterday. This is her maiden amateur golf title.

Pranavi returned with a three-day aggregate score of nine-over-225 (74+75+76). She finished fifth overall in the tournament. Tvesa Malik with a three-day card of 2-over-218 (75+71+72) clinched the title. Gaurika Bishnoi with a three-day aggregate score of 219 (72+75+72) finished runner-up, while Gursimar Badwal with a three-day card of 8-over-224 (76+73+75) finished third.

Top-seed and fancied Sharmila Nicollet secured the seventh place with a three-day aggregate score of 228 (76+77+75). Meanwhile, Mysuru’s Sonam Chugh with a three-day score of 237 (85+82+70) secured the 14th place while Anisha Padukone finished 18th with a three-day card of 243 (80+82+81).
