Mysuru: The Gopalak Sadan, built for cattle owners out of the funds from generous donors, in the premises of Mysore Pinjrapole Society at the foot of Chamundi Hill, was inaugurated recently.
Speaking on the occasion, social worker Mahendra Singh Kalappa of Bannur said that he was engaged in regular cattle service (Gau Seva) and has been organising programmes in this regard.
Pointing out that he had thought of building a house for cattle owners, he said he donated funds in the name of his parents for the construction of the Sadan, thereby benefiting cattle owners. He lauded the Society for building 22 houses. He also provided financial assistance to poor students on the occasion.
Sumithi Jain, Ashok Jain, Vinod Jain, Gowri Devi, Rajesh Kumar, Dinesh Rajpurohit, Santosh Kumari, Narayanappa, Shivanna, Santosh, Vimala Bafna, Suyidinath Jain, Mani Prabhaji and others were present.
