Replying to a debate on the State Budget in the Assembly, the CM said that the 6th Pay Commission has recommended a 30 percent hike in wages and he would take a decision on the recommendations in the next Cabinet meeting.

Listing out his Govt’s achievements over the past five years, he said that the Government has come to the rescue of farmers through loan waiver up to Rs. 50,000. Claiming that the State’s finances were good, he said that the State Government had done remarkably well despite years of successive drought.
