As a measure to contain the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the State Government has announced a five-day week for all Government offices, with effect from July 11. Accordingly, the offices of all Government Departments, including Education Department, will remain closed on Saturdays and Sundays starting from today (July 11).
The five-day week will be in effect until further orders. However, the order will not apply to staff, officials and teachers deputed for COVID-19 duty and teachers who have been deployed for SSLC evaluation work.
