Government revises summer holidays for Schools

Bengaluru: As the State is witnessing steady surge in COVID cases, the Government on Wednesday revised summer holidays for Schools.

Primary and Secondary Education Minister Suresh Kumar said that the new academic year for Primary Schools will commence from June 15, after the conclusion of summer holidays on June 14 as announced earlier. 

Pointing out that High Schools will have summer holidays only till May 31, he said that re-orientation classes for SSLC students (2020-21) will be held from June 1 to 14, with the SSLC exams scheduled to take place from June 21 to July 5.
